Compare frequency of source term to frequency of target term, find (badly) translated or uncommon expressions (e. g. an English expression rarely found in US, UK, AU, CN in relation to the worldwide hits).

Find regionalisms (e.g. all Spanish-speaking countries v Spain; US v UK).

Relative frequency

See the frequency of a term in relation to the overall text stock of the Internet
comparing the number of hits to the number of hits of a very general word of the same language such as “and” (control term).
Absolute numbers can be misleading: 500 hits in Germany may have a different status to 500 hits in the USA.

- Absolute frequency: In Germany 17 times higher than in Austria
